My IndyGun Collection

I'm just so pleased how this has all come together in the past year. My wife and I are teachers, so I never dreamed I'd ever be able to afford a WG, and now to have all three of Indy's guns is amazing. So I'm eating Ramen noodles for lunch for the next two years, big deal.

Ramon noodles and chicken pot pies are but a passing thing....been there, done that....those handguns, on the other hand, will last forever, and do nothing but go up in value!
WELL done, and congratulations!!!
HIGH regards! Michaelson

Thanks folks. Pwam, the Webley took months of diligently watching numerous gun websites and jumping when the right one came up. And, actually, there are several good WGs up on auction right now

Very nice, You say you're a teacher, and this goes out to all who pass along knowledge, I tip my hat to the lot of you. What subject do you teach? That last question is not only for you, but any teacher who reads this post. Again, very nice on the guns, I'm just looking for the Webley.
Peace
John

What do I teach? Well, I'm in my 15th year of teaching. In that time I've taught:
- HS Band
MS Band
HS U.S. History
MS U.S. History
HS World History
MS World History
Freshman 101
U.S. Government
World Geography
Economics
Music Appreciation
Chorus
Algebra I & II
English Literature I & II
My main subjects are Band and Social Studies. I've been focusing on SS lately, but yesterday I was offered another HS Band position, which I have to decide on by this Tuesday. Cool job + pay raise VS. less stress & more family time. I dunno.
How's that for T.M.I.?

Thanks

Well, for anyone following this thread (which has become a personal blog, but hey, I started the thread), I turned down the high school band director job. Too many hours away from my kids (age 9 and 6 in a few weeks; both HUGE Indy fans) and too much stress. Plus it would take away from my Indy hobby (yes, I said it). Life is good
Now, back to my collection: I sold the S&W
to another COW member. It was too nice for me to cut up into a Bapty (which is my goal). But I purchased ANOTHER 2nd Model HE that will still shoot .455. Plus, the end of the barrel is totally messed up, so I have no compunctions about transforming it into a Bapty clone. More to come . . .

Don't worry, the S&W went to a good home
I promise not to cut up the original barrel, however I would like to find a .455 barrel and .455 wheel to replace the original parts. I also want to put the correct custom ramp site on the 'new' barrel
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hey JD,
She's been shipped to your FFL. Let me know when you get her. I've got a gunsmith that was recommended by another member who "Bapt-ized" his S&W. Looks really good. I'll send you his contact info later.
