hi all, just been watching vh-1 ,they showed duran duran's 1983 video "is there something i should know" -all the band members are wearing blue indy shirts ! (sorry no screen caps) .theirs had button down collars but also had the two full length pleats down the shirt fronts- a feature i thought was unique to indy shirts and haven't seen any where else until now . just thought i'd share this observation.

Probably Cuban-style Guayabera shirts. Similar pleating - these were discussed here a few years back and I believe they were once regarded as the inspiration for Dometakis' original Indy shirt.

I think the pleats you're seeing are just darts in the shoulders. It doesn't look like they go down onto the pockets anyway.
