Can't wait for this. The sleeves are the only measurements that don't line up pretty near to those that the tailor gave me, but I can always have those taken in. I'm crossing my fingers here that this fits well... The price was pretty unbeatable and it's goat and from the pictures, that's one beautiful looking example of a Wested.


I still plan to get a Magnoli, but that'll have to wait until after graduation. And I think I'll go for the lamb when I do. But for now, this shall tide me over.

I know I have been pretty obsessively for the past few weeks. There was also one of those Wested Cotton jackets that came up just an hour or so before this one. I was planning to snag both but a sudden bidding frenzy erupted on the cotton jacket last minute and I decided it wasn't worth it.

You nabbed that one for a GREAT price! Don't forget to be an uber-nerd like the rest of us and wear it around the house all day...

The sickness begins...and you will wear it around the house too lol. I too type indy things into the ebay search function all day. And its ok of the sleeves are an inch long, you can fix that without going to the tailor.

That jacket looks really good on you! And I don't know if you had the sleeves taken in already or not, but they look just about perfect!

Nah, didn't take them in yet. Just rolled them. They've been fine like this, I haven't decided yet whether to leave them rolled or have them taken in.

Well, you know, you could always go that whole 80's route, and use this as an excuse to pull off that 80's rolled sleeves look:





But seriously, if it were me, I'd say leave it. On those cold days, those sleeves can always serve double duty as gloves as well!
