Jacket search comes to an end…

...with the formidable, Gibson & Barnes lamb! I learned something about myself, recently. Once I received another member's G&B lamb, worn in and naturally distressed, I was amazed at how much it appeared to look just like the original, or at least, the one I had pictured in my mind. As much as I liked it, I learned that I could not wear another guy's jacket, and quickly ordered a new one. Turnaround time was just a couple of weeks, and it was on hand last week. I have to say, I love this jacket! Solid construction and a great fit, it may be the best jacket in its class, coupled with its warranties and guarantees to the original owner, it is all that!
Here's wishing my friends and acquaintances in the forum, a very, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year, to you and your families! Scott
Have a holly, jolly Christmas!

A very nice looking jacket that suits you well.
And congrats on the search coming to an end! I've got a few jackets I love and I still fight the temptation to get more!

These few pics were part of a series of photos taken while Val's parents were visiting us from Brazil. I had hopes it would snow because they had never seen it before and almost on cue, we received an unusual snow around Thanksgiving of '07, after we had got back from our trip. It snowed hard, with huge flakes coming down, but not very long. Since they had never done it before, I decided that we should make a snowman, so we got up early that morning, and it took about half the back yard to do it, but we managed to make one. 'Jorje' was short lived, he lasted maybe three days as it warmed up, but I would get a blow-by-blow account of how he was doing out there in the yard throughout the day. Some of the best times I've ever had for the holidays, were in the 'simple' things of life, experiences shared together, etc. This was one of them.

Reminds me of the time when my girls were still at home and we had a pretty heavy snowfall. Instead of building a snowman, they made a snow alligator.
The thing lasted for weeks due to the cold weather.
It was definitely 'different'.

And when my first daughter was born in Tucson, Arizona, the day or two she came home from the hospital, it snowed just enough to be able to scratch out her name to reveal the dormant grass below. Not enough for a snowman, or alligator, but it was pretty unusual event for the desert.

It never comes to an end. Eventually you'll see a different style and you'll want that one too.
Looks great, enjoy it! I had a G&B expedition lamb (my 1st Indy jacket) and loved it too but had to sell it.
