Kevlar Bullwhip by Riz... Any Good?

Post by pfcyoung »

Hello all:

I am considering a Kevlar bullwhip and i have only found two makers of kevlar whips and Riz is the guy I am considering buying from seeing as it is the most friendly toward my budget. I was wondering if anybody else who has a firewhip bought from him and if they are any good or not?

if in case anyone is wondering what i am using it for, it is for my Medieval Faire. I am learning to do fire tricks and other types of juggling stunts for the sake of events we have planned.

any help and advice would be appreciated

Thanks!

I would check with Adam Winrich, user-name winrichwhips he uses fire whips in some of his acts and he might know of a few good places for fire whips.

I'm pretty sure Adam, as well as Chris Camp, uses Riz's fire whips. While they are not necessarily the best whips in general, they are definitely the best "fire whips" I've seen.

When I wanted to get a fire whip, after Adam let me crack his he referred me to Riz, as that is who he gets his from. That is where I will get mine when the $$ become available.

I'm positive that Chris, Adam, and just about every performer I've seen with a Firewhip that was any good are using whips by Riz.

I've handled a couple of Riz's firewhips, and they are REALLY amazing!

Good luck, and happy cracking!

I own a couple of whips by Riz. Have had them for years. You can't go wrong with his fire whips or his knowledge.

When it comes to fire whips, Riz is the guy I'd recommend. He is also extremely knowledgeable about them and working with fire and combustible fuels in general, as safely as possible.
