I have a goat G&B I bought in April and never really wore it. I have decided not to let it go to waste so I have been wearing it to work. I manage to family HVAC business and do sales and installation som I get into some good places and some not so good places. I want to see what this thing can take.

With apologies to the other makers, I think the G&B in goat is the Indy jacket to get. Nothing I've read here yet has changed that view. It's accurate enough and robust. But I don't like the lack of leather facings. It may be how the jacket was in the movie - but that's a detail I couldn't care less about. Facings would be an improvement. I have worn mine in stupidly harsh conditions (clearing blackberry infestations) and it held up without a problem which is what Indy would want.

The G&B Expedition in goat hide is undoubtedly the toughest of them all. I'm just not a fan of the plastic-y leather, nor leather facings. It would be nice to get it in antique cowhide, if and when it becomes available in the future.

The last jacket that I got was a TN Raiders in shrunken lamb. It's a great jacket with its own good qualities. I just sent it out a few weeks ago to an old friend on the east coast for his review. Up until then I had been wearing that jacket the most, mostly because it was the latest. Since I don't have that jacket at the moment, I've gone back to my seal brown goatskin Expedition.
It is a tank. you can't hurt this thing. It is truly a jacket for those that don't ever want to worry about damaging their jacket.

The expo doesn't have facings. G&B don't offer the jacket in antique cow because the leather is a bit too spongy/thick for an expo. They can't guarantee the uniformity of the collar stand stitching. There was a debacle over it some time ago with a board member who brought it to the board complaining about the stitching, without first mentioning that G&B did not want to make the jacket for him in the first place. You can't get G&B to make it any more. Thank your fellow board member.

"review"? For him to decide if he wants to buy one, or to write about? If the latter wouldn't you who has been wearing it be a good reviewer?

This thread is about Han's G&B goatskin jacket.
Let's keep it to topic, if you don't mind.
Thanks!

Han,
Take pictures of the jacket now and then some after you've worn it quite a bit. It would be interesting to see some NATURAL distressing for a change
