Jacket on the way!

Post by Brett »

Just got an Email from Wested, and my custom raiders jacket is complete and has been shipped. I ordered on Oct.29 and it landed in New York this morning @6:00am says DHL's tracking website. I am impressed at how quickly they have made and shipped it, as I was expecting more of a wait. Now if DHL would hurry up and get it to Arkansas... \:D/

That's the same experience I had when I ordered my Wested back in September, shipping was pleasingly expedient.

CONGRATS on the jacket! :TOH:

I'm wearing my washed goat right now and although it's only a little over a month old, it's already starting to get some good distressing lines. I haven't done anything (wetting it or Pecards) yet, just been wearing it almost everyday. I'm thinking about slightly wetting it and wearing it until it's dry before I hit it with Pecards.

Yes, I thought it was very fast also, they told me when I ordered it could take up to 21 days to complete, but could be sooner depending on how busy they were. I guess they were not to busy when I ordered. I got the antique brown novapelle , but other than my basic measurments and the name label I had no special requests, so that could be a contributing factor. I must say that my personal ordering experience has been very pleasent thus far.

That didn't sound good, is there somthing I should know about it? I ordered the raiders cut. I understand the novapelle to be an antique finish cowhide. I know that hide in the raiders isn't SA, but I like the look of it from the pics I have seen here and they said it was much more durable than the lamb. (which is a major plus for the beating it will take in my service)

Wow that IS fast! Congrats! It took me 8 weeks to get my custom LC and I still had to send it back and get them to make changes which was another 3 weeks.

Thanks. I guess Brett and I must have caught Peter before the Christmas rush started. I'll post some pix when it arrives.

conversation is what its here for! :TOH:
I guess both of us got lucky with the prompt service. I may go buy a digital camera just to post pics of mine when I get it!
:TOH: to Wested for their quick filling of custom orders also!
