I was online looking up Annie Oakley days and the dormant site for the WWAC and got to thinking of the contests, whip fast draw, accuracy and speed and the like. Couldn't find a good document that has all the rules. I'm sure there are others out there who would like to practice these contests. Help me Club Obi-Wan, you're my only hope!

I'd recommend sending an email to Gerry Deer, the organizer of Annie Oakley Days, to get more info on the contest rules.

For the WWAC speed and accuracy, the rules roughly went like this:

-10 targets, 5 metal target stands, 2 targets per stand
- the targets are 12 oz Styrofoam cups, (that might not be the right size)
- target stands are placed in a straight line, (about) 3 ft between each one
- There's a a toe line that competitors will be penalized for crossing. I think it was 7 ft away from the targets, but don't hold me to that.
-each competitor gets only 2 attempts at each target before the target is called a miss and a 5 second penalty is added to the time.

Chris Camp ran this competition at least one year, so I'm sure he knows what the exact measurements were. I'm just happy to say that I won this heavily contested competition one year :D
