Home made Budget Raiders holster and belt

As part of my continued project to make cheap fairly SA gear I present my Raiders holster and belt.
The belt is assembled from parts of 3 other belts bought in seconds shops for a total of £2.40. The tan leather was embossed by hand and darkened - to what I regard as a close enough shade - with repeated applications of black boot polish.
The holster is made from £6 worth of leatherette and a a jeans button. I glued two layers of leatherette [which was a bit limp] back to back to make it thicker and stiffer. The edges were too white so I coloured them with a brown marker pen. It's hand stitched with ochre coloured 4-ply button thread. I left out the wooden muzzle block as it's not really something you'de normally see.
Leatherette doesn't respond to embossing but I found that a cool soldering iron would do the trick.
The belt tunnel is an off-cut of real leather for strength.
