W.E. CS whip holder
Just recieived my CS whip holder from Wade Egan. It's beautiful, and just in time for halloween! I'll post pics as soon as I get back to my dorm, since I'm home for the weekend and regretably left it there. Now I just need to figure out how to tie my whip so it doesnt slide in the holder without using the quickdraw position... lol Although it is pretty nice snug.

Haha.. counter productive, right? lol I've just been outta the loop on how to keep the whip from slidin in the holster without using a "slide proof" holder. I'm sure I can wire it or tie it in someway. Guess I need to experiment. Btw... how did they keep it attached to the holder in the films? Heard something about fishing line but I dunno....
Re: W.E. CS whip holder
Fishing line.

sithspawn beat me to it But ya, fishing line works. If it's good enough for the MAN himself, it should be good enough for you.

Re: W.E. CS whip holder
Does anyone know how they actually tied the whip with fishing line to make it so secure? I tried it out and ended up tying the coil of the whip together on each side of the holder... with the fishing line being tied to the holder in between them. Seems to work real well but I wanna know what they actually did in the films.
Re: W.E. CS whip holder
Look at right below the snap on Indy's whip holder in the pic I posted. There is also line wrapped around the holder itself, so I think you did yours correctly as they did in the Film.
