Welcome another Indy style fedora fanatic.

Post by Hollowpond »

Thanks to Chewbacca Jones, another gear head is born!! That makes 3 in my house, and my son already loves his. He wakes up in the morning and puts it on. There's nothing quite like seeing a 6 year old drinking choclate milk and watching cartoons while wearing nothing but his underwear and a fedora. Anyways, thanks again Chewie! :TOH: View this topic for more details viewtopic.php?f=1&t=42824
Happy boy! \:D/

I love that second one. "Indiana who?" No, I'm dressed as a lion tamer.

\:D/ That's gotta be fun, having kids to thow into the mix of fandom fun. Then you have an excuse to be a big kid.. not that I think a person does need one.

That's a cool whip, too.

I'm glad he likes it. I can't get the smile off my face!
After all that I have gotten out of the COW community, I like when I can give back a little.

You ain't lying! This morning he woke up and put on the fedora, same as he has done since he got the hat, and he looked up at me and said, "Dad, is this a hat made out of beaver?" Apparently, there is a gear head gene.

Travis
ps. even though its not made of beaver he still LOVES this hat.

Yeah, John, I'm sure your right. I've told both my kids that when their heads stop growing I'll buy them a beaver fedora, so you have to stay in the business for at least another 12 years! ;) In the mean time my 8 year old has an old stetson temple that used to be mine when I was a kid, and my 6 year old has this hat. :TOH:

I got a real kick out of that note! "Dear Mr. Chewie" If I received such in the mail, I'd be very pleased with my act of kindness. Oh the many joys of COW.

Good to see that there are still some parents raising their kids with manners these days. That letter is awesome! And the hat looks great on him, Travis. I love the last picture, with the whip coiled on his shoulder.

Next time any of us are having a rough day (while on the job, after work, whatever)... I recommend popping back over onto this thread and reviewing a few of the posts - and photos - above...
:)

GUARANTEED they'll put a big, lop-sided grin on your face.

This may be the best thread ever. Those photos are amazing. What a great family you have! What a blessing!

My daughter has taken to calling me "Robin" and for some reason she is "Batman." I'm assuming it's because she saw for the first time EVER the Scooby Doo and Batman cartoon. She was just amazed.

So, now I'm Robin. She's Batman. Glad to see you have an Indy Friendly Family!
