I just saw on the Wested web site where they offer a 'junior' size goat Raiders jacket OTR in a 36" chest. I have a Todd's standard in medium that I'm quite happy with, but I've heard nothing but good things about goat, and I kind of want a goat jacket. Now I'm not a complete SA Nazi by any stretch, so I was just wondering what all you guys know/think about this jacket. And the reason I ask about the junior size is that I wear a 36" in jackets and the standard size OTR is 38" which wouldn't fit. I don't need a new jacket, I'm happy with mine, but when I saw the $125 price tag I figured I might as well inquire.

BTW, mods I tried search, but didn't quite come up with very much that seemed to help me.

The only thing that might not be right of a 'junior size' for you would be length, sleeve and body. Depends of course on your height etc. Best ask for those dimensions

Yeah, I had thought about that. I'm 5'9", so I'm not sure how it would work. They have the measurements on the website, and the next time I'm home for the weekend I'm gonna compare those to that of my Todd's jacket as see what it looks like the comparison might be.

On the website it says it's the same as its "big brother", so what all does that intel? I'm not a jacket expert, I'm really only familiar with what I have. How would it be durability wise, SA wise, etc.

I take 'same as it's big brother' to mean it's the same pattern and construction. it's just the sizing you need to confirm for fit to you.

It's a scaled down version. Fitted my 5ft 1 mum quite well.

I doubt if the arms and body would fit you, sadly.

Wasn't really an option. The proportions are more kiddy than the Wested junior.

doesn't Aero make to order/measure though? or not the junior?

armpit to armpit 19" 19.5"
sleeve length 20.5" 21"
back length 20" 20.5"

Yes usually 'junior' sizes aren't made for children as old as 13.
But lets say someone was ordering for a person 5'1". It might be conceivable that the size could fit in a 'junior' range. Maybe not
