I love the color and the price isn't too bad either.

How does the color compare to the AB's?

Those look really nice. Is it me or could the photos be shopped enough to "hide" the stock color though? What I mean, have they been color corrected and or altered

The very first link is the current 405's Alden is offering and you can get those shoes from Alden directly for the same price. The other ones I am not too sure about, they look like a lighter color. These are Aldens, but the AB Alden is a horse of a different color. The boot/shoe is very different in color and in design from the current Alden 405 and is the SA shoe for Raiders if you want that sort of thing. I have a pair of AB 405's and I really love the shoe. I have posted pics in the thread where Marc said he had the boots and I am sure there is some more around here somewhere. The AB Alden is 450 Euros last time I ordered, but is well worth the money.

I did contact Blackbird today and they are the general 405's that you can get from Alden. The pictures just make them look darker than they are...

On my monitor they look like the 405 Alden currently has, maybe the monitor is playing color games. Seems that people's monitors can cause things to look darker or brighter depending on the monitor. Good to know that they are the 405 Alden currently has out.
