If you must get a Dorfman Pacific...
...at least make sure you're getting something valueable with it. I think this was listed for $110.

Well, I know I cannot watch the movies (1-3 anyway) w/o wearing a fedora. Any fedora will do. And depending on the price of DVDs where you are, the hat is basically free. Not bad for a popcorn bowl.

Do you get your choice of hat or DVD size?
Re: If you must get a Dorfman Pacific...
Methinks if you are seriously considering wearing a Dorfman Pacific, you really don't care about size either!!!!binkmeisterRick wrote:Do you get your choice of hat or DVD size?

This never-elusive officially licensed Indiana Jones fedora from Dorfman-Pacific is a cross between the classic Indy fedora and the outback hat (commonly worn by Australian drovers). It's constructed from crushable water repellant wool felt. You can roll it up, fold it, stuff it in your pocket or pack, and it will spring back into shape when you're ready to wear it; just shake it out and put it on! This outback-style fedora features a slightly wider 3" brim with bound edge, and the sides of the brim feature a more pronounced pre-formed upturn (which is characteristic of outback-style hats). Includes a 1.5" grosgrain hatband with bow and an Indiana Jones pin. Color: brown.
It sells for $39.99, I picked it up for $13. Couldn't resist. Gave it to my son. That's his ToD cover look (complete with turned hat just like the painting, or it's his "Dad why are you taking my picture?" look.

For some reason, the whole size thing never occurred to me as I was looking at it. I certainly didn't check to see what size it was.

I was in Florida this year and we visited Universal Studios and Disney World etc. I can't remember where it was but I watched the Indy show. In the gift shop they had some very strange hats and, of course the DP. It didnt come in sizes, just S, M, L, XL
What more could you want?

S, M, L, XL are still sizes, just not custom sizes. I remember seeing one of these at a Borders some months back and had a good laugh at the idea that a hat would make you want to buy this DVD set. I can understand some of the other DVD sets that had the luggage, whip, and hat display, or even the skull, but this one seemed a bit too much for me to take seriously.
