Gearing up for Winter with Magnoli

Post by Mississippi Jones »

So, anybody here planning on getting ready for the Winter with Magnoli's "Wyoming Cardigan?"

I'm thinking about ordering one.

Nah. I've got me one from Roots, so I'm good to go.

Yeah, I'll probably pick up the sweater and scarf...for some unknown reason I feel compelled to do so.

I got my cardigan from Land's End in England, as the USA options didn't have the dark brown (called spice brown by LE). I just ordered the Magnoli Wyoming scarf, but since it's about 115 F this weekend, I'll pack it away until the one day it gets chilly in Phoenix come winter.

Indy Magnoli's Wyoming sweater is one of the few items I'm 'lusting' after, as I've gotten a little thin blooded in winter anymore, and wear a button up sweater all the time when at home. It's just what I need, but with cash flow at an ebb at the moment, it's kind of out of reach. :(

That said, let's just say that I'm definitely there in spirit!

Spoke to my eldest daughter yesterday afternoon, and it was 118 F in Queen Creek, AZ at the time, so I just don't understand why you aren't wearing that fine scarf now! :-k :[

That's pretty funny, Michaelson. You are welcome to come visit your daughter and I'd be happy to meet you in person. Feel free to bundle up, wool cardigan, scarf and leather jacket. Beaver hat, for sun protection, gloves optional. Yeah! That's the ticket! ;)

That sounds good. We get a lot of winter visitors in the area due to our pleasant weather that time of year. On pre-dawn January dog walks, it can get pretty chilly. I've been bundled up to be toasty warm.

Michaelson,
Your Daughter lives in Queen Creek?! Small world. :D

I am from Queen Creek all the rest of my family still lives down there. Now I am in WAY northern UT, I can wear long sleeves all year round, except in winter then I wear two shirts a sweater and a heavy coat... it's great cause I can gear in summer.
