I just ordered a fed deluxe IV in dark brown. But I've just noticed a lot of people going for Heritage fawn. Which is the right colour to be more SA?

Dark brown is the color you want for a more SA hat.

A lot of people have been buying the fawn because they like the contrast of the dark ribbon on the lighter felt. I've also seen those who go on the logic that, when Indy's hat is at it's dirtiest, it looks like a dark tan rather than brown. Personally, I think that's just an excuse to buy a nice non-Indy hat!

for once I just followed the directions that HD sent with the hat.
Held the brim flat on my chest, and pushed in the dent inwith the palms of my hands.
Worked like a treat.

with a lot of TLC.

I used very, very long time on this hat. Did everyhting you can imagine just to beat it up and make it limp like the soc hat, then start working on the bash STEP by STEP. using very little water and steam. and few clothes pinches... then beat it up again....

my Fed Deluxe 4 arrived today!!!!! I've managed to get a near perfect Raiders bash from it. It's such a good Indy hat, really captures the Indy feel so much more than my original Fed. I'm gonna have to put some pics up in the fed 4 thread.

Sorry I'm having some real problems with my laptop - it won't charge! I'm typing this from my iPod touch... frustrating! I still haven't worked out how to get my photos from my phone to my iPod.

Maybe I could send them in an email?

Or you could plug in your laptop instead of using the battery.

Nothing happens happens when I plug it in - that's the problem
