What color was the zipper of Indy's Jacket in ROLA? Brass or nickel plated? Did it change in any of the others?

I think the first batch of jackets had brass zippers, but after usage the brass zippers changed color. They looked like nickel zippers and so the rest of the jacket's came with nickel zippers.

The zippers were aluminum (and thus silver in color). At least some of them were painted to look like brass. Some of the paint wore off leaving the silver color showing through.

So silver and brass are both "screen accurate."

Why would anyone paint a zipper?!

Zips were painted with brass paint. In certain lighting, the aluminum zips were too shiny especially once they received some wear.

And yet for ToD they went with a humongous bright aluminum zipper. No concern for too much shine there.
