Review of Howie15 Indiana Jones bust

Post by D. Blank »

Hello,
I just got my Indiana Jones bust in the mail today and I though I would do a quick review in case anybody was thinking about getting one. For starters it is awesome! This is 100% life size and the likeness is incredible, this IS Harrison Ford. I don't have a mannequin yet so I mocked it up on the back of a chair for these photos, it's difficult to photograph something that is solid white so I apologize if it seems washed out. Believe me this bust has a lot of detail from individual strands of hair to pores in the skin this bust has it. I can't wait to see this thing painted.

As far as construction goes, this bust is made out of a plastic/resin material with fiberglass mixed in, it's real thick and durable and seems quite sturdy. This is not a cheap casting, It could probably take a punch from a German Mechanic if it had to.

I've owned other Indy busts before and was disapointed, Howard's Indy bust is definitely the best Indy bust ever made. Anybody that display's their Indy gear on a mannequin needs this bust to complete their collection. I've been searching for many years for the perfect Indy bust and now my search is over. So many times when buying props I've been disappointed. It's nice to open a box and have something look better than I was expecting and I had high hopes to begin with.

I'm also getting a painted one, I'll post pictures of that when it is completed I should also have a mannequin and a fedora by then.

WOW, that looks great.
kind of spooky looking.
I used to have a lifesize cut out and whenever me or the cat used to walk in to the room it would frighten the life out of us.
When this is painted I am sure it will look awesome.
And scare the #### out of people :x
