Yesterday, my first decent whip arrived! It's, as said in the title, an 8ft/12plt Raiders-nylon-whip from
Midland Whips. I love this whip! It's a beauty, great workmanship, good service...
My compliments to Midland Whips!
Greetings,
Numeron.

@Soup
I can strongly recomment these whips. But up to now I just made some test cracks due to a great leak of time.
Next week, I think, I can say more about it...

Looks good your whip Numeron, hope you can tell something about the cracking soon, mate.
I hope my whip from midlandwhips will arrive soon. Ordered round 7 weeks ago and still waiting. Iam getting very impatient to crack it myself.

I have the 8 foot, 16 plait Indy whip from Midland whips and I could not be more happy. They crack like thunder and are very well made. Graeme is also a very helpful chap. I am also waiting for a 12 foot, 2 tone custom design from him. Can't wait

Hi guys
Thank you for your compliments Numeron and Matt Black. @JackSpade, after our talk today I rushed out and got a new laptop, as you know my computer has been down a week and really needed sorting out. All is back in order now and this problem will not put me back anymore. I,m working around the clock to sort out late orders and get myself back on track. As you know your whip is on its way and I hope I have not upset you in any way. All I can do is say sorry for the delay. Any problems just let me know.
Thanks again
Graeme

At least the post came through and a package was brought. My whip arrived.
after some delay caused by a bad computer its here.
Nice work Graeme. I like it. Some small points could be better in future whips. Maybe you find a way to hide that parts where you welded the ends of the cord. And at the handle `s bottom that black could be covered from cord maybe.
I think you will find your way and your whips will have a place in the whipscene. If i had known how fine this burgundy cord looks you used to bind the crackers together i would have orderd the whip completly in that colour.
But those are fine and im impressed how nice they look on the whip. Fine craftsmanship.
Cheers Mate.

Hi JackSpade
The black under the handle is actually dark brown leather
I use this on all my whips with dark knots or wrist loop. I need more colors i know lol. Glad you like the whip. You know where I am if you want a whip in burgundy
All the best,
Graeme.

Hi Graeme, you might better get some natural leather for that if you use tan or other light colours. Would look more fine than.
Iam sure that burgundy will be a colour in my third whip if i order one some day. But dont be sure when that will be and where it will be.
But now im waiting for the whipt from Tony and if its here in the late of the year than two whips should do till i need/want a new one. Maybe round Summer/Autumn 2010. But i will take a look at midlandwhips.com for sure than again.

@Gaucho
Thanks!
I'm no expert when it's coming to whips, this is my first one. As far as I know, there are no (great) differences between plaiting a nylon or a leather whip. If you mean this with your question, I'm not quite sure.
Nevertheless I love this whip. A nice whip for neat and decent cracks.
Greetings.
