Am I correct in understanding the original RAIDERS boots had round shoelaces and NOT the style of laces used in Aldens now. Where would I get the correct style laces. Sources anyone?

The boot write up in Indygear said round, so I thought maybe someone knew something that I didn't. I've seen those PICS before. Thanks for confirming. I really didn't feel like finding different laces anyway.

I know I've seen a picture where the boot laces were definately round. Can anyone else chime in?

Both were used. The round can be found in any store like Wal-Mart or such and are usually used for hiking boots. You get replacement Alden flat laces directly from Aldens.

If I remember correctly, Peter has the Hero boots with the round laces, but I think they were from TOD
