Land of the Lost.. Aldens?

Post by Indy_Werner »

Because of the new film coming out, they've had a marathon of the original TV show on Sci Fi (first time I've seen it and u cant get any better with cheesy entertainment lol) But Uncle Jack's boots look very much like aldens. And they look to be in the color they come in now. They might not be at all, but I figured they looked too similar to not post.

I watched a few episodes. It was like going thru a time warp! Amazing how it makes your mind feel! I used to watch that show like crazy when I was a kid. Even the lyrics to the opening song all came back to me!! And its probably been 30 years!! Weird!

I'm right there with you TR! My kids (both boys 7 and 5) were hystericaly laughing at how "lame" that show is. When I was a kid that show was the best! I mean...where else can you get bad claymation, kids in monkeysuits, and Brady caliber acting all in one dose?

I think you owe the Bradys an apology . . . LOTL "acting" was more like "Plan 9" caliber. I mean, the zombies in "Shaun of the Dead" read their lines better.

I thought the same thing.
I just watched the episode "SURVIVAL KIT"
season 3 episode 2. About 6 minutes in
you get good views of him taking them off
and then putting them on.
If anyone has the series on dvd they
might be able to get screencaps.

I just can't watch that show. Cha-Ka and the other Pakuni remind me too much of the wookie family costumes from the Star Wars live action Christmas Special!!!!!

I think I saw an SA Holly shirt and Bed, Bath and Beyond... in the tablecloth section!

Special Land of the Lost Robot Chicken tonight. Might be funny if anything like the Star Wars episode.

Could not find a single decent size photo from the TV show.

I DO like the shirt he wears in the movie. AT first view it appears to be a basic khaki shirt til you notice how many pochets, zippers and buttons it has. His vest is riddled with doodads attached. He wears a mocassin at the zoo and a dress shoe during the movie which becomes a joke during the movie.
