Anyone knows if the measurements shown in TN site

are the same with the jacket HF wore in the film?

Yes except there is a mistake with the E-F measurement shown. It should be 21"

I don't think Harrison Ford is a size 40. He is bigger than that isn't he?

The across the chest measurement shown is 22 inches. Double that, and
the total chest measurement is 44 inches.

With 4 inches of movement room, it means the measurements shown work
out to a size 40.

Your shoulders are measured straight across your body. Your chest is measured
all the way around your body.

If you look at yourself in the mirror, straight on, your shoulders should be wider
than your chest.

But its the fact that your jacket has to go all the way around your chest, versus just
sitting flat on the top of your shoulders that makes the difference.

If you lay a jacket or shirt down flat, you will notice that the distance across the
chest from one armpit seam to the other is always bigger across than the shoulders.
Its because your chest is bigger around total than just straight across your shoulders.

The little diagram that is used to supply the measurements is NOT drawn to any type
of actual scale. Its just for reference only.

OHW ! I thought it was Harrison Fords measurements ! so its not and just an example?

The same diagram it seems, so that would make it HF's measurements.

TN is selling jacket number 58 of 777.

The chart he is showing under the jacket for sale is the actual
size of THIS jacket, jacket number 58.

Now, also, on the side of the pictures, in the description, TN states
that this jacket, jacket number 58 of 777, is the SAME size as that
which was made for Harrison Ford in CS.

I still can't believe that HF wore a size 40 jacket, especially since the
jacket he wore in CS was even bigger and baggier on him than in the other
3 movies.

If this is the case, then it would appear that HF is now closer to a size 38
if you take that into account.

He must be shrinking in his old age...

A call to Tony Nowak might clear up your questions. He's the guy who made the jackets so he probably can tell you exactly what you want and save time speculating.

I don't think it will help RaiderS. They still won't believe it.
When they discover the HF CS jacket specs are actually slightly smaller than the HF Raiders jacket specs (except back length) it will get worse

I was confused by this, until I looked at Dutch's link. TN isn't selling this jacket, 'The Movie Shop' is. TN isn't the movie shop.
As an aside, they will have paid the same price for what they are selling as the rest of us pay if they bought it from TN.

Well those were the specs my jacket was made to and I ordered the Ford CS size from Tony so I think it's safe to say those are Ford's CS measurements.
