Any other tricks to keep side straps from slipping?

Post by Nos402 »

I'm loving my Todd's Standard more and more but the left side strap tend to slowly pull looser as I wear it. The right one doesn't seem to do it. If I go ahead and just feed the straps back through so they end up pointing toward the front, then that locks them down tight, but I'm wondering if anyone had any other tricks that help stop slippage when you have the straps fed through just once, pointing toward the back. I'm still sifting through my forum searches but hadn't seen anything yet.

Thanks!

I have the Wested cloth version of the Indy jacket, I have the same experience with it. Tucking it under not only did not work, but looked funny. What I did was to take a needle and thread and take two stitches on the side of the strap, through the parts of the strap both in front and behind the buckle at the buckle.
