Wested Jacket Sizing

This has probably been addressed already, but I was wondering how close to US measurements the Wested jackets are?

I wear a 42 Regular. My US Wings LE is a medium, and as their sizes run big, it fits me very well. I had a Todd's standard, in L, and it was too small.

Should I order a Wested 42, or go up to a 44? The jacket will be horsehide in the LC configuration. It won't be a custom, but an OTR jacket.

Thanks for your help!

Measure your chest, not tight, and give yourself some breathing room (take a deep breath)

Contact Wested with your chest size and they should be able to recommend what jacket size to order.

Wested runs small, I wear a Todd's large and a jacket size 40, I order a 44 wested for a looser CS/LC fit, and 42 for a tighter fit, Wested's custom 40 for raiders would be a tad tight.

I have several jackets; Eastman A2, Belstaff, Wested........ and in all the jackets I wear the size 42R.
I ordered my Wested in size 42, back lenght 25" and sleeve lenght 25". I'm 181cm tall and 83 kg of weight.
