I was looking through Gunbroker.com and came across a S&W Victory model from Hartford. It looked to be one of the closest and inexpensive basis for conversion for a pretty nice replica. I unfortunately missed the boat on this one and it sold for merely $110!

Does anybody know if there is something closer than this in a blank firing model or are these Victory models RARE?

They're not rare per se, but they CERTAINLY are rare at that price. Whoever got that one got a steal, IF it was in good condition.

I was the guy who got a steal on the S&W. I thought it was too good to be true and didn't want to say anything until I had it in my own hands. It is an amazing replica. Truly a masterpiece as far as model guns go and it looks unfired. If it had been used it hadn't been fired very much at all. I had been looking for this one for a long time and just happened on it at the right time. As it turns out, the seller had been trying to sell it for a while and had been reducing the price each time he relisted it. That kind of luck rarely ever happens for me. The correct grips would go a long way toward making this one look screen accurate, even with out the modified barrel sight that's on the original. Here are some detailed pictures of it. If you have ever have the opportunity to buy one I'd recommend it, especially if you like high end replica firearms like I do.

Good to know that a gearhead got a hold of this and thanks for showing such a great array of photos too. The gun looks beautiful. As much as I like Tanaka Airsoft's version of the revolver, this one IMO blows it away. They copied everything perfectly, down to the original style hammer.

At least it was pretty recent that these came out and at even a 1000 pieces, I know I can find another. Thanks again for showing it off.

That is one of the nicest S&W replicas I've ever seen - great find!

WOW! Nice revolver Marc. The only thing is that it has a newer style hammer on it. That is why I like the .38 for it looking completely vintage. Incredible piece though
