I guess the Raiders stovepipe just isn't for me.

I've had my Fed III for about a year now, and recently it's started to taper rather noticeably due to post-rain-neglect. Funny thing is, I've been getting a lot more "nice hat" comments recently, and I'm thinking a bit of taper must suit me better than the straight-sided Raiders style.

Nothin' to be frettin' over. I feel the Raiders hat had a bit of taper anyway.

We all come here because of Indy, but if your features don't agree with what is exactly SA then...who cares! Wear what you like!

Well, some hats in Raiders were at least a little tapered, not to mention hats in TOD and LC... so no worries

As long as you like the way it looks then enjoy it. I personally went for a deeper center dent because I did like the profile as tall as it was.
