Make Your Own Textured Leather! ;)

Hey All,
I was just thinkin, i know how alot of people like that textured leather look in the TN Raiders and was testing out on a piece of leather samples i have aquired(
) i used a tool to make marks and lines like the textured leather without harming or weaking the leather.. the tool is the tool you use to put the rubber gasket in a screen window...
any ideas or thoughts?
i was wondering if you like the look of the textured lamb but dont like the weakness, you can texture your own goat or cow..anyone?
