Wow! That hat is virtually untapered. That rabbit felt must be good quality stuff. Very nice looking hat.

Thanks Dave!
The felt is high quality indeed. It comes with a treatment right from the factory.
And, when we do the hats, we treat them with a water repellant product.

Where can i buy an Explorador '36?
What is the website or email?
i want to eventually get one.

they look good but i googled it and every thing that
comes up is in Spanish and none are official websites
of these types of hats.

although i found a site, that i had to translate using babelfish,
that talks about the hat it still doesn't have a link to the site
to actually buy the hat.

I also am interested in the Viajero ’36 (translated: Traveller '36).
this hat looks superb, bro.

Seing as though the vendors are from South America, I wouldn't be surprised. Indeigo Jones and Odo sell both hats, I think. You might want to shoot him a PM, thecoolmeister (I love saying that). If you need help translating anything, I'll be happy to help. ;)

Thank you so much for the kind words!
Me and Roberto live in Argentina, we are big Indy fans, and have been making this fedoras since march 2008.
So far we've made 68. We offer the brown one -Explorador- styled in any of the 4 movies. And the grey -Viajero- styled Raiders or Skull.
Well, if anyone is interested, please PM me. I'll e-mail you all the details.
I've no problem reading english....but writing...
Regards.

(sorry -again- if there's grammar errors)

Hi,

In fact, these hats are made of hare ("liebre") and not rabbit ("conejo"), no doubt Diego has not noticed this little typo.

Many photos of them in these "satisfied customers" thread in the Spanish Indy Fans forum...

I have a pending order for a "Viajero" (Traveler) in the Raiders style - I hope it will soon be on my way...

Now we use hare for the current orders, but the one I show in the first post, is rabbit.
Is 1 year old, and same felt of our first 15 fedoras. Alphared has number #9 (written inside the sweatband), and is rabbit. Our hare felt turn out to react the same way the rabbit did. And is identical in color, touch and softness.

The jacket is a Wested (november 2003) Dark brown lambskin.
The COA says is a replica of the jacket seen in "Temple of Doom".... :-s
Anyway, I love this jacket.
