Todd's Mk VII

Post by BryceW »

I purchased a bag from Todd's last September. I am very happy with the quality but it was from his run that is "smaller" than the original. How much smaller is this bag than an original Mk VII?

I think my Todd's is average size. I've had it along time and it is VERY tough from what I've put it through. I replaced the strap too with a TOD style one, and it looks fantastic. I love it.

If your talking about an older bag that Todd had, they were the wrong size at 10w x 10h and Todd offered them at a discount. His new bags and the Magnoli are I believe 10w x 11h. The material seemed to be a more lightweight canvas as well. I orginally had the old bag and now just keep it in the car as it just doesn't compare to Todd's newer offering, a Magnoli, or an original MKVII im my opinion.

Thanks again,
Frank

I had Todd's old size bag and found it to be quite a bit smaller than an origonal. My wife stole it and uses it every day so I got a Magnoli which I think is alot more like a real MKVII.

10" wide x 10" tall is what I measured on my older Todd's bag as well. I had been thinking about a new bag because the bleaching I did to mine didn't come out the best but I really like the smaller bag. I may try redying the bag.
