Really sorry, when describing 'back length' does everyone include 'collar stand' (ROTLA). So 23"/24" or 25" back length, as described, would that be from the very bottom of the jacket to the bottom edge of the collar itself INCLUDING the extra bit of leather that I assume is the 'stand'?

the back length is measured from the bottom of the collarstand seam to the end fo the jacket.

Thanks! However because I've had a weekend from ####, funeral to follow, I just need to confirm that the piece between the collar and back panel is not counted as part of the back length? Sorry my minds a mess.

I know that's been a piece of confusion indeed. That's why I always post 'measured from the BOTTOM of the collar stand to bottom of the jacket' when I talk about back measurements.
As Holt has said....twice....no, you do NOT include the collar stand in a jacket back measurement.
