Stetson Official dates?

Does anyone know what year Stetson stopped making the official hats? And, in the event that it's different, what year did their name stop being attached to the hat?

I managed to track down some info for you. It appears that stetson got the contract prior to the release of temple of doom. Some of there hats may have even been used in the movie. Stetson than lost the contract shortly their after and DP picked it up a few years later. The rest is history.
