Nice looking gun! I also like the fact that you didn't point it directly at the photographer when getting your picture taken.
Now, do you have a nice holster to stick it in? I got an IMA for mine, and while I wish it was a higher grade of leather, I can't beat the quality/price.

I'm wearing a brand new Lee Keppler holster in the photo montage at the top. During last month's Georgia IndyGear Summit, I got a case of gun envy when Indydawg brought out his
Temple of Doom Colt revolver, and it made me really, really want a gun. Before that, I'd never seriously entertained thoughts of buying or owning a gun. Now that's all changed.
Ever since I first saw
Last Crusade, one of my most favorite scenes has always been the one where Indy ran across the Mediterranean beach, scanned the horizon for the Messerschmitt, and broke open his Webley in desperation for a last-ditch stand off. I thought it was so cool, and I knew I had to own a Webley someday. Now that I have one, I can assure you that it really
is as awesome as it looks in the movie, and it does indeed cure all symptoms of gun envy!

Congrats, WW! I know the feeling of adding a "real" piece to a collection. Makes it COMPLETE. Doesn't it. Enjoy.

I AM enjoying it!!! Does anybody here consider it pathetic for a 24 year-old to kneel in front of the TV and keep playing the scene where Indy breaks open the Webley and clicks the cartridge ejector down, and titter like a girl everytime he manages to time it exactly with the action on-screen?

Cool. Nothing warms the heart like an American citizen exercising his second amendment rights - something our European allies (including the folks who gave us the Webley) can only dream about.
What an odd-looking pistol. The Webley is like the Ostrich of handguns - so big and ungainly, and yet it has that little tiny cylinder.
Don't feel silly about rewinding the VCR. I used to do the same thing when John Wayne rode across the bridge and it blew up behind him at the end of The Horse Soldiers.

You got that right!
