Hi folks,
I got this little gem from the man himself Robert Amper! This is a 2008 Del Carpio KOTCS model in whiskey purchased last year around summer. First off I would like to say what a pleasure it has been in dealing with Robert, he is a complete gentleman and has nothing but the consumer in mind when dealing in merchandise. He kept in constant contact with me and made sure that I was absolutely pleased with the whip. He even included a free copy of "Whip Basics" vol 1 (more on that in a minute). I want take a minute to talk about the whip, till this one arrived, I thought my Terry Jacka Aussie style 10 footer rolled really well, the Del Carpio rolls out like a dream! It is so smooth and coils very easily, I spent some time emailing Bernardo about the history of the whip and man I gotta say, no matter how many questions I had he was more than generous with his answers (Thanks Bernardo!) Now on to the "Whip Basics" DVD, I really enjoyed viewing it. Robert and his terrific sense of humor are spot on and so are his techniques. I even realized that i was making a mistake on the under hand flick! See, no matter how much you think you got it, you gotta always work on your foundation techniques . Again I say Thank you to Robert and Bernardo, truly both scholars and gentlemen !
