Small problem with my Keppler

So I fell asleep last night with my drink beside my bed. I never ever do that but I've been somewhat sick and fell asleep after watching a movie in bed. I was frightfully awakened by my alarm this morning (reveille at full volume on cellphone) and as I hastily reached for the phone I spilled my drink all over my desk. The Keppler was sitting on a shelf directly above the desk so it didn't take a direct hit, but it was splashed some. This wasn't such a big deal when I thought it was just on the brim, but I've just noticed a good sized spot on the crown. So I guess the question is, Does anyone know how to remove white grape juice from a hat? I would have just gone right at it, but I figured I'd consult the experts first. Don't want to do anything to damage the felt or set the stain.
Thanks, Mike

Hello,
I am not an expert, but white grape juice is for the most part made of sugar and water.
I guess this is a shinny stain...
This is a NOT big deal.
Since I am making some hats, I have some pieces of felt at home. I have also some grape juice in my fridge.
I am going to reproduce the stain this evening, and try to remove it with the following method:
Spray some water on the stain, wait a minute in order to let the sugar to melt. Put a tissue on the stain and press gently on it in order to absorb the sugar and water (do not brush). Repeat the operation once or twice... this should do the job.
I'll post the result here ASAP.
Best regards,
Nicolas

GOOD NEWS
It did work! No stain visible after "my" cleaning method.
My stain was worst than your since I used RED grape juice.
Use a kleenex or such, you can brush but really gently.
You can even put water on the stain in order to wet the felt deeper.
Tell me how it works for yours !
Regards,
Nico

Thank you so much. I figured this would be the case, but I wanted to make sure since it was fur and not some other material, and because the stain was grape juice. I will try this immediately.

Alright, done.
Less than 2 minutes of cleaning and I have a perfectly stain-free hat. That's pretty much what I figured; but when you have a panel of experts as close as your fingertips, you might as well check. I figure there's nothing I can do to my hat that someone on here hasn't done before me.
