Hey, are you up to installing the sweat and liner yourself? If so, give me your head size and I will mail you those two out. The other option is to send it in but lead times on everything is pretty ridiculous these days. Email me with "urgent" as the subject. Those emails catch my eye, even when I have a few hundred that are still unread. Thanks. Fedora

Fedora and/or Oak; What about having a replacement done at a slightly larger size? My oldest AB does not need a reblock, but it's just gotten too tight.

I'd be interested in this info, too. I've got a vintage Borsa in need of a replacement sweatband that's also a size too snug...But I love that hat....Would a reblock and larger sweatband be the cure? Or just ruin a great hat?

from my experience, a tight hat means that both the crown and the sweat is too small. you can't increase the size of the sweat alone or it just won't fit in the hat (neatly, that is).

i think there is only one cure for a tight hat......a reblock....but you'll lose some brim width to make up for the larger head circumferrence.

Thats not always right G. Sometimes the sweatband shrinks and the body is fine.

If Steve is OK with sending you guys sweatbands for replacement. I do offer a service for doing just that. re-sewing I parts and the turn around time would be very little.
