New Indy gun source!

Post by whipwarrior »

I have good news for all of you gun collectors out there! We have a new source for authentic period guns! I recently purchased a Webley from an antique firearms dealer in Utah. After conversing with him over the past month, I discovered that he's also an Indiana Jones fan! Last night he informed me that my revolver is being sent out this afternoon, and offered to hook me up with some other vintage Indy firearms. I told him that I was good for now, but that there are a group of Indy gearheads who are always on the lookout for Indy-era guns. I asked if he would allow me to introduce his company on this messageboard, and he agreed. Here is a copy of his reply:
Hi Dale,

I appreciate the information and would be happy if you send fellow collectors to our site. We have one other Webley MKVI listed in our catalogs and I am looking at 2 more that I may be able to purchase (have not worked out the deal yet). I love the old Webleys and M1917 revolvers so I always look for them and purchase them if the price is right. Funny that your Webley would come from Utah, if I remember correctly Indy grew up or at least spent some time as a boy in southern Utah. I will be dropping your revolver off at FedEx this afternoon, let me know if everything is OK when you get it.

Thanks,

Marc

Marc Wade is one of the co-owners of Stormy Mountain Sports LC, which specializes in vintage guns. I encourage you to check them out, because they have some really nice weapons, and they were a pleasure to do business with. In addition to great service, they made the buying process relatively simple and hassle-free. So please take a look at their site, and if you decide to pick up an Indy weapon, tell em' Dale sent you. I promise that they'll treat you nice!
