Indy Bag for the Ladies!

I'm offering a limited edition bag run of MK VII's for the ladies. This bag has a deluxe tooled strap and buckle as well as a floral design hand painted on the front of the bag.

The first run was a huge hit so I've made another ten bags. Offering them at $78 for COW members. Only ten bags available each a one of a kind.

I'm sure they're repros - you'd have to have some serious cahones to paint a flower on a real MkVII!!

Do you paint those yourself, Wade? They look great! I couldn't paint a cloud if I had to, let alone a flower.

Well you never know!!!

That's why I was asking. Afterall some people have no problems in cutting the original strap and replace it with an accurate one while some others think it's a crime (I think it's a crime

)

According to his website, they're by a local artist. And each bag has a one of a kind graphic. They're a pretty cool idea for those of us with wives/girlfriends Wade.

I don't know. I think female Indy fans are drawn to this hobby (and Indiana Jones) because of the adventure image and the "rough and tough" nature of it all (the same reasons why men are drawn to it). The few female Indy fans I've seen around here collect the same kind of gear that all the guys have. In my opinion, putting a flower on a MarkVII might be viewed by some female fans as a little insulting.

My wife (who likes to wear my MkVII from time to time) saw this bag earlier and her words was - are you kidding me? She said flower is too much to bear and it make a bag look too cheap and . She liked the strap though..

I have to agree with Randy on this one as my girl is one of those reluctant ones. I got her an "Adventure Girl Bag" for Xmas and because of its "unique qualities" she tolerated my deranged sense of gift-giving and uses it quite often as she always needs to carry some extra stuff to work or the gym.
It is a Magnoli bag btw which I also have (sans flower of course.) Besides my girl's strap and bag, I have one of Wade's straps in a Raider's color, a super whipholder in Raiders, along with a darker strap with roller buckle on the way.
All of Wade's stuff is top notch and he has been a pleasure to deal with.

Nice, although not my preference. I prefer my regular repro MKVII but I've always been sort of a tomboy-type anyway. When I need something a little more feminine but functional for traveling, I use my Kavu Kicker bag which is also worn cross-body.

I do have one of Wade's Raiders gunbelts with whipholder. Now I need to find a whip and a gun to carry!

I think the flowers are well done and can see this would be popular with some people. Looks a lot better than other "fashion" bags I see people with.

Yes they're Mag bags.

Yes they're for Indy fans or not. Just an interesting way to do it.

Yes, I painted some and a local artist painted some. In the future it will just be me painting them.

They are being well received here in Southern California. Mainly by the surf crowd. Also some random sales from all over. So far everyone has been stoked.

Just being creative. Most of the ladies who have bought them so far don't know anything about Indy or tha MK VII. They just like the look and functionality.

My wife loves my MK VII for it's versitility - all the pockets inside to stay organized, but thinks it is too "manish" for her to carry. This is the perfect compromize. She especially likes the more feminine touches to the strap. Hm, now I have to justify getting her "another" purse.

I am one of the non-Southern California people who have purchased one of these bags for my wife. She reallly liked the functionality of my MKVII, but thought it was a bit 'manly' for her. She really enjoys her bag.

I was concerned that the flower would appear 'over the top' or garish, but, like everything else I've purchased from Wade, it is extremely well done. The strap is very nice, and after re-routing it so she could wear it over her left shoulder, she is very pleased with it.
