Hi, was wondering if anyone out there has purchased one of those cotton Indy jackets from US Wings? How's the leather collar look on them? What about the color of the cotton, is it pretty accurate on the website? Etc,etc...

Gravy. Please email me a pic. By the way, what size do you have? Also, what is your height and how does the jacket fit you? THANKS

I, too, have a cloth Wings Indy. Yes, the color of the cloth and color are dead on to the real thing. Well made, tough jacket. Just be SURE when you ever wash it do NOT, repeat, do NOT put it in a dryer. Let it drip dry. It will shrink, especially the sleeves. I learned the hard way (guess I need to read the instructions (grins)) and my sleeves are a little short now, but still wearable. Nice jacket, and fits me fine. Good jacket for warmer wear, and has been dyed by a member to a dark brown with great success, so if you don't want the khaki color, it can be changed. Regards. Michaelson

That's what we kept asking David Hack. SInce he was already making an A-2 like this with the same material and collar, I suppose the business decision to not go the extra step and offer the other colors was made. That's why they weren't all that popular with the real die hard fans. I'm also surprised to see this STILL on his site for sale. He told me last year that it was being removed at the end of last year's Fall season, and had a HUGE sale going on to eliminate stock, and yet here it still is on his online catalogue. Still a REAL nice jacket, but MUCH heavier than Peter's new Cotton Indy version. Regards. Michaelson
