I didn't want to hijack your other thread it seemed a bit unfair to start talking about another whipmaker on that thread when thats not what the thread was about
That Stenhouse looks to be a really really nice bit of work thats stood up to time very well
What is happening with Paul Stenhouse does anybody know?
I'm sure I saw a post somewhere that said he was starting up again?

Hi Tony!
Thanks for the comment! That was pretty strange to see my name in the thread title. I thought, "Wait, I didn't start that!"
Anyway, I think it has definitely held up well. It's 4 years old, and although its been beat around a little bit (though I do care for it), it still performs beautifully for me. I sometimes call it "Old Faithful," because it's quite obedient and I've learned to be pretty accurate with it (hitting targets out of somebody's mouth!).
Last I heard from Paul, he had just moved back from New Zealand and was looking to start up whipmaking if he could find some nice quality hides to start working with, and the time to do it. I did PM him several months (maybe almost a year?!) ago and say that if he did start up whipmaking again, to let me know.
Hope this sort of answers your question... maybe you can find a post by him?

Cheers Shane
....it was funny really I was cursing through the old threads on this board only the night before you posted (page 25 and beyond
) and was thinking of starting a thread about all the names that used to post and don't any longer Paul Stenhouse, EC Whips, Janine Frazer,The Edge and others....I know a lot of them are still here but no longer post...then low and behold there's your post mentioning Paul Stenhouse....
Hopefully he'll make a cme back seems an aweful waste of talent for him not to as that seems a real nice whip of his you own
Take care...
Tony

I thought it was a nice gesture to make a new thread... a lot of times that doesn't happen and threads get derailed. But I guess it wouldn't have been such a big deal.
