Does lamb stretch?

This may seem "pretty stupid" but. . .
I had a cowhide for a year and a half. In that time I went from a 42 regular, to a 44. The jacket fit me as well as it ever did although a problem from the beginning was shoulder space and sleeve length.
Here's where it gets stupid: Because that jacket fit me so well, I was thinking of ordering a 42 regular with my specific measurments and just adding a little to the shoulder and sleeve. Will the lamb stretch? I would order a 44 but (I currently ahve a 44 in new cow) the arm hole is usually to big and the length is just too long. I've also stopped lifting weights in favor of cardiovascular exercise.
This post could use more information.
I'll post my medical records and mom's family lineage as soon as I can.
Thanks,
Cap.

If you've made this change fairly recently you might want to wait a bit before having your measurements taken for any tailored clothing. You'll likely find some of that added size trickling away as your body adapts to the new regimen.

Also -- Wested owners can correct me here if I'm overstating the case -- from what I've read on this forum, your off-the-rack size is immaterial if you are able to have accurate measurements taken by a local tailor, and communicate to Peter how you want your jacket to fit.

Best of luck!

Why'd you stop strength training, Cap?
