It seems to be getting difficult to find khaki shirts with epaulets, etc., but here is a link to a reasonable likeness without the strips of material sewn down the pockets. You may have other links, so post those too, but here is one:

I suppose, if $20 is your outside limit, you could do much worse. But I still recommend Cabela's as the best close-enough.

Well, yes, but not as thick as some. It's heavier than the NH, Wested, and Magnoli. I find it lighter than WGP's though. And I've worn it in June, in the sun. It breathes fairly well, and if I wear it at a summit, I always get asked by somebody where I got it.

I had a Cabellas until I was hiking and slid down a hill. I tore the heck out of it and probably looked like Indy in the Temple of Doom. Anyhow, it's a very nice shirt and well made too.

The only thing about Cabelas is that it is not 100% cotton, so it tends to be a bit hotter in the warm weather then, say a LLBean, or NH.

It also doesn't distress very well.
I've had mine for about 4 years, and it looks good as new after every wash. Drives me nuts every time!

I ordered that LLBean shirt a while back. I have to say, the sizing chart seems to be pretty off. The small was huge, absolutely huge. I buy smalls with those same specs on the sizing chart, and they fit much better. I had to give the shirt away because it was much too big for me. You may want to try them out at a store first for the fit. Or maybe I just got a bad batch...

I wrote an inquiry to Lighthouse workwear about their shirt offering and this was the reply:

"It's not a heavy weighted shirt. It would be good for summer wear."
