The need to protect ourselves from the crazies out there will definately be more importantant in the months and years ahead.
Wow...no offense but really...REALLY?
I find it sad that people still think that they need to be paranoid to the point of carrying a deadly weapon in public. I really would hate to see the world go all "wild west" because instead of seeing people as people, they see them as threats from every side.
I was thinking of visiting the U.S. again (and my parents are buying property in Arizona) and it makes me sick to think that they might be there with gun carrying people. Just because a person can get a gun, doesn't mean they should in my opinion.
Anyway, personal views aside. As mean as it sounds, I am glad you can't legally carry a gun because you've already demonstrated that your definition of "crazies" is pretty broad.
Besides all that...what in the world does this post have to do with Indiana Jones? This topic is a political topic in my opinion and has nothing to do with the gear at all.
EDIT: I realized shouting "insults" wasn't really productive and maybe I should offer a solution instead. What about instead of buying a gun, you take that money and help out a homeless shelter. Perhaps you could help out a family that is seeing harder times than you.
Seems to me this would directly help eliminate some of those "crazies" you were talking about. Maybe you could donate money to your local Police force so they could put another man on the street. Invest in environmental development so it creates jobs for people. Donate your Wested to someone so they don't have to go all "crazy" when they can't afford a jacket in cold weather.
Seems to me there are better solutions than backing into a corner with your gun drawn, eying up everyone that looks like they might be after your wallet.
