Um, if you just lost your job, maybe you should be thankful just to have pants! ;-) I've been in the unemployment line before and it's no fun. Maybe putting gear on hold might not be a bad idea at the moment, but if you're still dead set on finding close enoughs, I'd recommend looking in thrift shops of surplus stores.

Wow, sorry to hear about your job! Maybe it is time to put the Indy hobby on hold, as it can easily cost you over a thousand right off the bat.
However, if you must, I would recommend the thrift store route like the previous posting mentioned, until you get back on your feet, at which point I think Wested is the way to go, especially if you are in the UK and can save on shipping costs.
However, the dress chinos by a company here in the US called L.L. Bean are not a bad substitute. If you are in the US, and you find yourself in Maine, stop by Freeport. Otherwise, you can buy them online and with the dollar vs. pound, you will make out pretty well.

Sorry about your job dude, "credit crunch" eh.
Try BHS they've got some chino style trousers that are pretty close. Maybe wait for the January sales and get a bargain.

I've seen similar trousers in Debenhams, only single pleat though not double unfortunately, but the fabric (cavalry twill) was authentic looking and the colour was good (more LC than ROTLA), they were about £30.
Good luck with the job search.
Cheers,
JTW.

I've seen these in the store and they looked and felt quite nice.

I've always found their stuff to be of decent quality and good value for money.

Have you looked at Military surplus Tropical Khaki? These should be close to the correct colour and wool/wool blend
