Anybody here have LC gear?

I'm not talking about just the jacket or fedora, but the whole shabang!
It seems most people have all Raiders gear (but I know that can't be true..), so what about Last Crusade? Fedora, Jacket, bag and strap, the right colored shirt and pants, etc.
If you have full LC gear and wardrobe, show us some pics!!!
Thanks!

I'm
only collecting in the style of LC.
The final item I await is the whip, which shall be ready in January.
I am reluctant to post pics of an unfinished costume but if you would like to see it, sans whip, I'll post on your reply.
Cheers,
JTW.

I've been working on the LC look. Mag HJ fedora styled to LC, Jacket, Bag Strap and buckle, web belt and gun belt rig. Still tweaking a few things here and there. Need to swap out the buttons on my Todd's Shirt. (I have them, just haven't gotten around to removing the old and putting on the new. I'll post some pictures when I get the chance.

Guys, I would defintiely like to see some pics. I'm not in to collecting LC gear (I'm a Raiders fan) but I would love to see some full (or almost full ;-) ) LC gear.

I had a great LC outfit until my jacket got ripped this year, and then I went CS. Here are two pics. The first one is the whole outfit, minus the black tie, which I hate wearing, and the second one shows off the jacket distressing.

Mississippi,
I've got the entire Henry Senior thing down from Last Crusade. Here I am at the QM Summit this year. Most of my Indy gear is somewhat a cross of LC and CS.

My LC style costume is 99% complete.
I hope to receive my custom made whip early in the new year, without that, I may as well be half naked.
Cheers,
JTW.

Light acetone highlights, gently sandpapered over, and sponge buff with ice water. I used the Smithsonian jacket pics, film stills, and freeze-framing for reference. I know the distressing looks rather extreme on film, but it was much more subtle in real life.

JMO, but I think the arms could be evened out a little better, but the pockets look spot on! Nicely done.

Thanks, knibs. It was a good jacket, and I still miss it. But it makes me love my new Wested all the more.

You're welcome. How long have you had your new Wested? Any pics? Is it an LC or CS?

It's the CS novapelle that I got earlier this year. Pics are floating around the jacket forum somewhere.

Well, Here's a pic of my LC setup. I know the whip needs to darken up some, and the fedora didn't photograph well, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

The whip does need to darken up, but only time can really do that (unless you dye it or use Pecards- which doesn't darken it THAT much) The hat needs a tighter pinch and the shoes need to be worn a LOT to get SA distressed. I really like that bag strap though. Who's the maker?

For LC you need a SA black neck tie!

you put a lot of work in on that jacket. Do you mean literally ripped or stolen?

The bag strap is from Lee Keppler. Believe it or not, the hat does have a pretty tight pinch, but there's a wicked shadow in the photo which makes the hat look almost unbashed. I'll post some pictures of the hat when I get a chance. I'm actually basing the look after some publicity photos which do not include the tie. I'm thinking the rest of the gear will only get better with age and use.

Ripped. The shoulder panel was accidentally snagged on a wire, resulting in a large tear.

That must have been a heck of a snag!

I was maneuvering a large box through the doorway of a business that my company delivers to, and the leather was caught on the wire S-hook of the suction cup that held the OPEN sign to the glass. It felt like something had grabbed me, and wouldn't let go, but there was no audible tearing sound. It wasn't until I left did I begin to suspect what had happened. Then I pulled my jacket off to realize the horrible truth. It was a dark moment.

I was in turmoil for about 40 minutes when my wife called to inform me that my package from Wested finally arrived. It was a sign, a blessing, and an omen. The CS jacket that I'd ordered was perfect down to the very last stitch.
