Can we get some pics of you wearing it and more detailed pics, please? Your bottom three pics are pretty much the same. I really want to see if Peter nailed the side vents.

Gracias!

They would have to be some of the WORST pics of a jacket I've ever seen! :) I mean, I can imagine you were excited to get it, but you may as well have taken photos of the floor for how much they show! :)
I'm just jealous, don't mind me! But do show some pics wearing it as soon as you can!

Remember back in the day when Westeds were in the brown bags & arrived in a box? Nothing against it.

Also Tron, did you receive any emails saying it was completed and being shipped? The last I heard of my jacket it had moved to 'processing'.
Back in late October. :(

Well, that's an achievement in itself, WORST pics.

They do show my hardwoods need refinishing soon. They also show the new jacket shine.

The best part, but admittedly hard to see in the pictures, is the smell of new leather!

Jackets undergoing hot water treatment as I type, but I will attempt to provide more pictures when the family gets home.

Or even better, maybe some others received their TOD's today!

Fantastic news Tron, thanks. Sounds like Wested is just completing them and shipping 'em out. I expect mine in the next few days, fingers crossed.

I like the way the jacket doesn't lift too much with the arms raised. Very good pic.
Overall, it looks very Temple-of-Doomish! Fantastic! And look at how that collar sits...and those pockets! I want one NOW! :)

Awesome small pockets and extended yoke seam. Looks like Peter hit a home run! I'm not usually one to request pics from others, but it would be cool to see the jacket outside in broad daylight. And take some sandpaper to that thing! It looks WAY too new!!!

Whoo-hoo, first to score the ToD around here (I think). That's a nice looking jacket. Let me add my voice to the chorus of a close-up of the action pleat, the top of the collar stand, and those pockets.

Very nice fit, although to me the arms look a wee bit long, but when it dries they'll probably be about right I would imagine. Did you order larger than your normal size since you were going to treat it with hot water? Could you maybe snap one shot of it unzipped from front view? If not, that's all right, thanks for the pictures.

I ordered a size 40 which is the same as my ROTLA special offer. The TOD seems to fit slightly more snug around the torso. Leather feels more substantial.

very nice. that is pretty much bang on aside from the distressing. you're very lucky to have that as it is just OOZING with SA.....a stitch nazi's dream

wear in good health my friend.

Thanks for these close-ups!

Very nice, very nice. Peter seems to have nailed all of the little details to a tee. How do you like the dark lamb? That was one of the three choices that plagued my dreams until I finally chose one. And is the lining satin or rayon (the original NH jacket was rayon, right?)

Thanks, Tron! Looks fantastic. The only thing I can see that doens't match up is that the top of the storm flap appears to be rounded a'la Raiders where the TOD was very squared off. Otherwise looks great. I wish I had the money for one right now.

I'm very pleased with the dark lamb. The color is much nicer than I expected. As for the lining, I'm not sure, but it doesn't feel like satin.

Great looking jacket! Nice big 80s zipper!

Perhaps, the 42s go out this week and the 44s next?

It would be nice to get mine before Christmas. I hummed and ho'ed about what leather to choose from. I am glad I chose the authentic in the end. The dark lamb looks really really dark.

But again, GREAT looking jacket! Congrats on getting yours!

Tron thanks for sharing, it looks great. I will probably have to wait a little longer, I ordered a 42. I think the color looks perfect for TOD :) .

So this is the TOD jacket Peter is offering here?

Tron, it looks really good. In the shots the leather almost looks black. Does it look a little more brown in person? :-k

Tron, when did you order yours? Is it same spec as the copied jacket?

Looks great BTW

Yep. That there'd be a Temple jacket. :-k

Congratulations on getting the first one!

Looks fantastic. The one with your arms raised show really well how it drapes .

Great colour choice too.

The lining is a nylon/manmade fibre, very much like the original. It's a different material to Wested's regular 'satin'.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.

Just to fill you all in on the background, I ordered on-line Oct. 30th. Size 40, with a sleeve of 23.5 and a back of 26. I asked for nothing specific beyond my choice of color/leather which is dark brown lamb. Pictures of course distort this (especially my pictures  ) but to me it's a much more satisfying color than my authentic brown Raiders. Very much the color of my AB Aldens.

It really looks perfect.... Great choice of hides and Great job Peter!

The low Yoke looks just like the jacket in the shot where Indy arrives at Pankot.

So.... Can you get your hands in those pockets?!?!?!

congrats, it's gorgeous.. hoping to see a size 42 in the same leather (which looks bang on) to Calgary soon! :D Heck, I was having it delivered to work, and I'm off this week! I better call

Any duty that had to be paid?

...And as an earlier poster mentioned, how awesome is that big chunky zipper!
Still glad I got (or am getting) authentic brown though. Matches my boots better!
I'm a 42 too, so I hope there's not a big delay between delivery of the different sizes.
Wouldn't seem fair for someone who ordered a size 40 in late November to receive their jacket before someone who ordered say, I size 44 in October. But what's a few day or weeks? I'm just glad the first production jacket we've seen seems to be of a very high standard.
And I'm sleeping next to my mailbox again.

I am sure they will be going out in sequence of when they were ordered as they are all custom (not OTR/standard).

Coronado,
I'm pretty sure Peter said the 40's patterns were cut first as they were first available being the first copy. There was a delay on cutting the other patterns due to illness. Even though they are custom cut, they have to have a starting off point for the general size so they are not starting from scratch with each jacket.
