Indy bullwhip video by purewhips.com

Post by purewhips »

I thought this would be cool to do. Showing what the whip can do. Showing this video might help out customers to have a little more knowledge on the whips that I make.

Even though I am not cracking the whip I'm just showing how easy it is to throw on the limited amount of space.

2 quick videos.

Great looking videos Gus. You do a good job of showing how solid your whips are.

That is a crazy camo pool table.

I've only owned nylon whips, and have been in the market for a leather whip (Public school teacher...Work like a dog!!! Do the most important job in the world!!!! Get paid like a ditch digger!!!! The public school system wants you!!!!). Needless to say my funds are low. After reading many posts on how kangaroo is the ONLY hide to consider in a whip, I have been reluctant to purchase a cowhide.
However, Gus, I believe you have made a sale with this video!
Nice job indeed :notworthy:

TurnerME thanks for the comments. I thought it was time to do something like this so that everyone can get an idea of what they are buying. Pictures are cool, but video is better. :)

Yeah that camo table was at first not ok with me but the more I looked at it the more I thought it was cool. So we got that table. Lots of games are played on that table on saturday nights.

Hollowpond hey thanks for looking me up. I was always wondering if school teachers made any money. The best thing is the experience of teaching and learning. :)
Cowhide is good to use for a whip. Yeah roo is much better for whips but cow hide works great also. I like it alot. But I also like the roo whips.
Send me an email when you are ready and we'll talk. :)

In the next week to week and half I should have all my orders that came in about 3 weeks ago caught up. I would like to thank everyone for all thier patience.

Thanks,
Gus Caicedo Jr.

Its a blessing to do what you love. Its a curse to get paid so little. Oh well, i'd rather do what I love for nothing than do something I hate for lots of money.

Yes, but you get holiday time.

Anyway, Gus I'm really enjoying the whip I got from you a few months ago! It makes a LOUD crack and I'm enjoying learning the the various moves. Fun stuff. Brought it to my brothers on Thanksgiving and I thought the neighbors would call the police thinking they were hearing gunshots. :whip:

Saw the vids a couple of nights ago, very informative. Plus, awesome pool table. You build your whips very well, cowhide or not (still enjoying the budget whip, getting better everyday :) )

Yes, getting 2.5 months off in the summer, 2 weeks in Dec/Jan, 1 week in the spring and other assorted holidays off do make the job bearable...

My friends always ask... "So, you do NOTHING all summer?"
I say "I fish"

I have an 8th grade student who is Indy crazy and I have pointed him toward Gus for his first whip! He is going to go for one of the vlaue 8' 8 plait whips. I'll give it a review when he gets it.

The kid is also going to get a Fed 4 so I think it wont be long until he becomes a member here~!

Hollowpond, Gus is top notch! I have his new budget whip and LOVE it , cracks like a champ even my 8 and 11 yr old are cracking it :) ! I wouldn't think twice in buying from Gus actually I'm trying to persuade my wife to buy me another one for my B-day in Feb but the fact that someone on the next street called the cops on me last week is not helping things ! My flick sounds like a rifle going off!

Can't say it enough 2 THUMBS UP for Gus!! :notworthy: :notworthy:

Just saw the video. Good looking whip Gus, I like what I see. Do you happen to have any video of it in cracking action? Now, this is the 8' 12 plait bullwhip for $240 correct? Any options on color or is it the natural/caramel color as in the video?

Cheers!

Ya Gus, please put your prices back up online. I'd like to see yours to be able to do some comparison shopping. I'm in the process of saving for my next whip. :)

Hey everybody :) sorry for the small delay in response and the taking down of my whip site. Been a little busy and that's not a bad thing at all. I am not as behind as I was a few weeks ago. So I have put the site back up with prices and all.

Daniel the whip for $240 only comes in the natural color. But It will get darker with time and use. :)

Here is the link again for my site if anyone lost it. www.purewhips.com/whips also check out my auctions button I have a 12ft Strain whip in there. 8)
