this is for those who have them:
my birthday(16, oh, yeah, drivers license, but no car/truck) is only about 2 weeks(give or take a couple of days) and my parents are going to give me a cabela's shirt. Im curious about the sleeve lenght on the medium regualar, because i dont want them to order and then have to send back to get another size. any help please? thanks.

Not sure this will help, but...
I typically buy x-large for just about everything. I prefer a roomier fit. But, after comparing Cabela's measurement chart to my actual measurements, I ordered a large-regular. It's a blousy shirt anyway, so it fit well as a large. Even though it is a blend, it still shrank a little bit, but not enough to be ill-fitting. The sleeves are still a nice length. My point is, go by the meaurement chart and compare it to your own. Assuming the proportions are the same on all the sizes they offer, you shouldn't go wrong.

I'm 170 LBS, 5'11 and I wear a medium.
[My My Turn-ons are Hot Monogamy, fast cars, high caliber firearms, long hikes through the woods, rendering landscapes and women who go by the name of Carol.
My Turn-offs are Traffic, modern fashions, anti-gun nuts, crowds and crown taper.]
Sorry, couldn't resist...
It would help to know what size you are and how you're built. [Easy girls... ] before we can suggest a shirt size.

I need help with a shirt size also. I want a shirt from Cabela's but, I need some help with the sizes. I usually buy an XL in my shirts. I 6'0 foot and weigh about 135 pounds. thanks chad

Well, this has certainly turned into...well...something.
(funny, Fisk)
I am 6'-1", and 185, and what I would consider average build. The large fits nicely. It's a roomy shirt, so had I ordered an XL as I usually buy in T-shirts, flannel shirts, really, you name it, it would be too big. Since it is a cotton/poly blend, shrinking is not too much an issue, though as I mentioned above, it did shrink a little bit. The sleeves still cover the arms completely to the wrist, and would cover a wrist watch if it was worn at the base of your hand. Does that make sense?
Really though, just go by Cabela's sizing guide. That is what prompted me to buy the large instead of the XL.

I know what you mean. i was at an airshow in lakeland FL and met some british teenagers in their version of the Civil Air Patrol and they were serious anti-gun nuts. i just cant stand em!

in dress shirts i wear a 15 1/2 neck and a 34 sleeve. i'm 5' 9(or 10)" and 155 with a slim build. i'm now pretty sure the medium reg will work for me.

hey Indy007! Congrats on the birthday and driving soon, I just got my Learners Permit last weekend, and I've been a driving fool! I was a little nervous while taking my test but since I had my Wested on I stayed cool and calm like it was nothing, good luck!!
You'll love the cabela shirt, with my wested everybody said I looked really sharp in it, but without my Wested I think I looked like an overstuffed blimp at the PA Summit. Enjoy the shirt and Happy Birthday!
High Regards, Dan

yeah, got my learners permit almost a year ago, and the test for it is a breeze. 20 worded questions, 20 roadsign questions. of all, i only missed 2. but i still had to have 40 hours of ducumented driving with a licensed adult before during that first year. initally i was worried, but i filled up the 40 in several months. have fun, drive carefully(i know i sound like a parent)

Pennsylvania Dan... did you just have a birthday, too?
By the way, nobody would say you looked like an overstuffed blimp... with the way you crack that whip I doubt anyone would dare.

It took my a while, but in PA you need a phsyical for everything 11nth grade, driving, permits licences and jobs. So I had to get that before anything.
You only had to drive 40 hours?? we have to drive 50. Hmmm
