I really like the wrinkled, worn look it's getting! That looks fantastic! I wish it would rain more often here, so mine could do that. Stupid California weather...

And about the shirt, I have one just like that one, and I also have a gray one with a distressed logo. ...oh, and a Bizarro shirt.  Nice jacket though!

I think it looks good! I can't wait to see my Todd's get worn in.

But I will! I figure I'll post pictures each year I've had it, to watch it distress.

Batman might not be able to fly on his own power, but he does have a Kryptonite ring. ;-)

amazing how much better they look when you beat the @#$% out of them- sort of the antithesis of most things!

*also amazing how everyone seems to have kryptonite considering how rare it's supposed to be!*

i hope your illness is nothing serious.

wested's jackets are waaaaay too spotless when you first get them. if you want to wear them that way, you can't go wrong with wested or g&b. if you want a worn-in jacket, it looks like you are on the right path my friend.

if you wish to further reduce the shine, rub the jacket down with rubbing alcohol. it will give you a nice matte finish and put another couple of years on her without comprimising the construction.

cheers,

G

That is really looking good. On the few Westeds I've had, I'll wear them around a bit with that new look, then I have to wash them and get them broken in a little.

I'm all for natural distressing but some leather looks--plasticy at first. It's good to get them looking like, well, leather.

Holt have you had the oppurtunity to see the last two Batman movies? He seems to fly pretty well in those. :P ;-)

That is a great looking jacket Adey and the distressing is coming along nicely. I love the shirt as well, I have one similar with the "SuperMan Returns" logo instead of the classic logo. I love many of the props and movies we can see in the background of your photo's.

I hope you do get your health issues "sorted" as you say. I have a couple of family members that deal with epilepsy and know that it can be problematic.

nothing negative... It just will saturate, soften and moisturize it same as lamb or cowhide.

You may find that the goat doesn't take it up very well. Try a very light application as it's known to often just sit on the surface and not soak in.

The jacket is looking good, but.....forget the jacket! Where did you get the DL-44 replica on display on the shelf below the lightsaber?

i wore my jacket out today and it was great to walk around in it, somehow it makes you feel good hard to explain.

ahh the han solo blasters, they are master replicas, i have the a new hope version and the empire version, along with a load of other star wars master replicas, i bought them a few years ago now. My room is full of my favorite possesions.
