Red Wing Boots

Post by jnicktem »

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts on the closest Indy boot that is made by Red Wing?

I live VERY close to Red Wing, so if I know which model I can just drive over there and give it a look over.

Hi jnicktem,

I'd go for the 1908:

or the 8111 which are new (at least in Germany):

From the pictures posted, I'd say he 1908's - they look the most like a pair of Aldens...

But maybe the RW 9012 is even better:

All look like pretty nice alternatives but the 1908's seem to have the best price point from what I can see not to mention they look great! To start paying much more than those then you might as well start looking at getting the Aldens. If you're deviating from total screen accuracy though these Red Wing boots certainly have a more real-world soul for my tastes than the Alden though I would certainly love a pair of those someday too!
