Steranko jacket in Raiders?

Post by Indiana Strones »

I noticed this guy (double? stunt?) on Raiders set: he's wearing a Steranko style jacket. This scene (idol grab) is one of the first filmed. Perhaps it is a pre-production jacket? The only available waiting for the jackets from Peter? Any idea? :-k

I don't think its a stunt man or an extra, It just might be someone of the crew wearing this jacket, this jacket is not featured in the movie, although I admit the similarities. Thats not even a raiders Fedora. Looks like he's wearing a dorfman?

Someone from the crew who just happens to sport the same kind of costume as the protagonist ??? Naw... This guy has to have been some kind of stuntman or double of some kind

Looks too old to be a stuntman(plus costume not accurate enough)..could it be Jack Dearlove,Harrisons stand-in?

I think he may be the lighting stand in.

Someone here will know his full name and national insurance number I'm sure. :)

But his bone structure looks kind of like Terry Leonard, was he at Elstree?

It is very interesting that his jacket looks so much like the painting. Is this one of the rejected prototypes?

Hard to tell, he has a similar wide chin, and the slight overbite, but the nose looks a bit pointy.
